Hi! My name is Courtney and I am a professional WAIT trainer. No, I did not misspell the word… it’s a term I invented about a concept I am using this Blog to explain! Since this is the about Me page, I won’t go into that concept…too much!
I am a graduated homeschool student, currently attending college for a degree English. I love to write, non-fiction, fiction, and poetry, and I currently have four books in the works. My other passion is music: I love Bluegrass music, and along with my sisters make up the FOLEY BLUEGRASS BAND. ( If you visit our site–which I have linked– I’m the one with the guitar!)
My sisters and I sing primarily BLUEGRASS GOSPEL… it is important to me ( and to them) to sing about the one who loves us the most! I believe that God has a plan for EVERYONE, He loves them, and EVERYTHING He does is in their best interest… even though it doesn’t feel like it sometimes!
The WAIT TRAINING idea is a simple one, and the more you look into it the more it makes sense… Since God has a plan for everyone, it is important for us to follow that plan… some times that takes a whole lot of listening and, you guessed it… Waiting! I am learning to apply it in every area of my life… and don’t worry, I’ll continue to post about it as I learn!
Hello Courtney. I was doing a search on Sam Soleyn and noticed that you have a link to his website. My wife and I have received him as an apostle and I thought I would say hi since you receive from him as well.
I like the “wait training” phrase. Today God has been dealing with me on being still and knowing He is God.
Anyway, hi!

[...] this blog for a distinct purpose, did I not? (and if you are wondering, the answer is yes. See the About Me page). I do know the solution to this dilemma. I admit, putting it into practice is a struggle at [...]
Hi Courtney – yes, “wait training” is something that all of us who are trying to follow His will need to practice on a daily basis and ALL of our lives!
I am 70 years old now and am still waiting – but not giving up nor am I discouraged.
I hope that your “wait training” won’t have to be as long as mine – but then perhaps I have already acieved my (goal purpose) and don’t realize it, I guess that is possible.
Tell Joran that becomeing an electrician will be a good profession I think – especially since she will have the most excellant teacher – her dad!
Maybe sometime you and I could sit down and talk about waiting Courtney – I’d enjoy that. You could probably give me some pointers.
You probably don’t remember me – but I chatted with you shortly there at the Weed Bluegrass Festival.
